My name is Angela Acker and I am the proud mama to 3 amazing boys. I've been married to the most amazing man for almost 13 years. I am also the proud author of "A Boy Named Vinny." Our goal as parents is to provide our boys with a healthy holistic lifestyle and teach them why we avoid certain things that are harmful to our bodies.

Many things have transpired over the last 2.5 years that have led to the creation of this blog. When our son first became injured we didn't have a guide on what to do next.  All we knew was that we had to help him in any way we could.  I also knew his journey needed to be documented.

Now that Vinny is doing much better we thought there was no better way than to pay it forward and share his journey with other special needs parents.
